Reproductive Equity Now: New Hampshire

Investment in New Hampshire is critical at this moment of crisis—for both New Hampshire residents and people traveling to our region for care

The State of Access in
New Hampshire

Granite Staters share a deep commitment to reproductive freedom, bodily autonomy, and dignity in health care. But following decades of attacks on these values from New Hampshire executive and legislative leaders—including the state’s first modern day abortion ban enacted in just 2021—there is work to do to protect and expand access to reproductive health care.

While abortion currently remains legal in New Hampshire, it is the only state in New England that has not codified the right into state law. Now, New Hampshire is just one election away from eroding access to care further.

Meet Our New Hampshire State Director:

Christina Warriner

Christina Warriner joined Reproductive Equity Now in the summer of 2023 as the New Hampshire State Director to lead the organization’s expansion into the Granite State. Christina is a Concord, New Hampshire native who has seen firsthand how her family's ability to gain knowledge and assert agency over their own reproductive health has impacted their lives.

Christina has more than eight years of experience spanning campaign management and strategy, non-profit community engagement and advocacy, and public service. Her professional experiences in the Granite State include serving as a North Country regional field director during the 2020 New Hampshire primary, enhancing and diversifying New Futures’ advocacy efforts during the 2021 legislative session, and most recently joining the board of New Leaders Council (NLC) New Hampshire as co-curriculum director.

This past spring, she graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Boston College, where she focused on social policy and community-driven interventions.

We want to ensure that every New Hampshire resident has the ability to decide if, when, and how to become a parent, and that when they choose to start a family, they have the ability to raise children with dignity. Advancing reproductive equity in New Hampshire is key to making New England a regional block for abortion access.

Reproductive Equity Now is investing in civic engagement and voter education to help shift the tides in the Granite State and oust anti-abortion politicians from office. We’re excited to educate, activate, and advocate around reproductive equity and we have a proven record of building relationships, educating communities, and passing bold laws that will help fuel our work throughout Northern New England. Together, we will create a collaborative, well-resourced, regional coalition that fosters a pro-active agenda to advance reproductive freedom.
